The shelter program fo GK Canico Village has been finilised.

The other programs,however, are equally necessary to really make a success of the holistic vision of Gawad Kalinga. With the rising cost of basic commodities nowadays sits another daunting challenge for the GK Team and the GK Neighborhood Association to tap and involve more partners to help implement the other programs of Gawad Kalinga, particularly productivity, health, education, environment, community empowerment and values formation.

An inventarisation of the skills of the inhabitants of Ganici Village is currently undertaaken, as is an assessment of what opportunities the Consuelo area offerss. Based on this a productivivity plan will be developed and implemented.
We will keep yopu informed and, when we need support to implement any of the desired outcomes, we will ask for your help!
